Wood better retains a home’s original design and with modern hardware offers security, style and comfort. Modern weather stripping means new wooden windows and doors are energy efficient and they can be painted in any colour. Well-maintained, wood is strong, durable and stable. ASJ offer a wide variety of internal and external wood doors, from hardwoods such as oak and mahogany to pine. Pre-primed wood windows and doors are sprayed in-house for customers who have chosen to paint their orders.

So, whatever the style of window and door (Victorian, Georgian; carved, flat or raised and fielded) ASJ can produce a door to suit your needs and the style of your house. We manufacture wood windows to any size and any type, including traditional casement, storm-proof casement, spiral sliding Sash, traditional Box, sliding Sash, etc. We can also fix and repair existing frames, but this is rarely a long-term cost-effective solution.

Un-plasticised polyvinylchloride (UPVC) windows, doors and door-frames are very popular in the UK. As with our timber products there is no compromise on quality.

Planning permission is not normally needed for installing new uPVC windows unless you live in a listed building or conservation area, but if you are putting windows into a commercial property, new build, porch or conservatory, you will need to go through the local building authority process. ASJ can do this for you.
